Who Killed Trance?

Tiesto or Oakey??

i would have to say oakenfold started the death of trance. but once tiesto got huge, hold sold out quicker than Paul.

very disappointed in the scene the last couple years. everything is so copycat, and nowadays everyone is jumping on the electro bus.

anyone who's been around here since 98/99 can relate.

Oakenfold owned 1999
Tiesto owned 2001

and now? both sellouts, money does some dirty things to people. like steal their creativity.

What trance are you talking about? Epic trance? Psy trance? Pure trance? Pants trance?

Oakenfold left the scene high on coke, telling Tiesto he could not be responsible for the death of such beautiful music. Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto chastised him for it, but Oakenfold handed the Technics-9 to Tiesto to finish trance off for good. Armin would be in charge of taking trance's wallet and convincingly denying they had no part in the murder of trance, even as far as saying as Trance is still alive and well in his weekly radio address entitled "A State of Trance".

it's there
