| Originally posted by exstasie Sometimes big movies get sold out pretty quickly, especially for smaller theatres. When I went and saw 300 on Friday, one of the showings was sold out 45 minutes in advance...just to guarantee admission. I remember in high school, we'd drive at lunch to the movie theatre (5 minutes away) to buy tickets in advance before it was sold out. |
Don't you have to buy with a CC at those little machines? Maybe the people in line don't have one. I think I'd rather do it with the people than a machine fucking me over. At least I know that with someone actually there behind the machine It has less of a chance of messing up.

| Originally posted by FunkyCrew no it's exactly the same thing as a person casheer - cash, debit and credit (i'm not sure about cash) so what if it messes up? supervisors are at hand immediately, you tell them what's wrong and it gets cleared up immediately in any case convenience factor is way higher then standing in a long line-up |
yeah, which ever is shorter for me I pick.
