I find it funny how he and Armin have pretty much the exact same playlists for when they play live. I generally thought Markus played as he does on GDJB, more mellow and dark, but his playlist just gets eerily more similar to Armin's with each show playlist I see. I think Armin's affected Markus just as much as Markus has affected Armin.

Whatever man...back in the day you could never tell the difference between Sasha and Digweed either. They both played very similar but with total different atmospheres and flows.

You can't really post an unbiased response because you're a total fanboy.

Markus' livesets become more and more banging, generic trance-minded by the gig, very uninspiring, he's totally abandoned the Coldharbour sound which gained him so many fans for its originality. Sad but those are the facts

Yea i agree on the fact that his live sets are more upbeat but he dosnt go thrashing out uplifting trance does he ? Therefore his sets arnt the same as Armins and many Armin fans would prob argue against that aslwell.
But i do disagree hardly that you said he has abandoned the Coldharbour sound.

I don't know how you can fairly say this when half the set are ID's. As far as his TE set, he had already stated in the GDJB chat that he was going to bang it out.

I agree with you.
Hence, GDJB is still keeping Markus' footprints a little unlike his live sets.
