well, i know its not a new game, but i love playing ct online.
dont know if any yall played it. but, seeing as to how we are
all hanging out here @ TA, maybe we could like start a ct clan, for those of you who play. i duno, just an idea, cause that games the SHIT!!! and for those a you who dont know, check it ooouuttt!!...
http://www.cscentral.com its a free DL. 100 megs, make sure you DL version 1.3 (retail version), and that web site has all the levels, eh, games just so damn fun!

It's free so you can get addicted to it like crack and have to buy Counter-Strike: Condition Zero when it releases 
hmmmm I dont know really much of counerstrike, I heard it was the best online action game of 2001?
I only have played half life (just single player)
just remember guys after u have installed cs 1.3 u must have halflife to version 1.1.0.8 < u can download that off some web sites (free again)
hmmm i have a question yes ive the 1.3, i extracted it but there's no exe file to run the game.
What should I do.
Ive to dload another version first or what, WTF???
Where can I find it????

TranceSeeker once u have extracted the file into the half life directory u load up Half life and there is a menu called custom game, click on that. Now there should be a list of 2 or more games, click on the one that says counter-strike (this hightlights the name) now click on activate. That will load up counter strike 
(when it has loaded up the backround will change)
If all that works then ur counter strike works fine.

What do you mean the original ? do you mean the update for half life?
well here is 1.1.0.8 full update for you. 1.1.0.8
the link is set for fileplanet (this is beacause it was the only place that i could find that has the update) Once you have loaded up the page there will be a link that says download, click on that and sign into fileplanet or create a new account (go for a free account no need to pay) then all you have to do is select where too download from.
When you install this update install it too the halflife directory.

there is no version that supports 1.3, you are ready to play now from what you have told me.

it needs and exe file it says.

Okay... the only other two things i can think of is
1)is half life installed
2)is counter strike installed to the same directory as half life
Thats about it sorry 
if they dont work try starting a new thread called "NEED HELP WITH COUNTER STRIKE" or something like that.

No mate I dont have half life, I used to have it, but somethings wrong wih the cd, so now im asking where to doad the original?
Ok there is not a site where u can download the game. you can eather buy it or try and download it off morpheus or kazaa. Or you could ask around tranceaddict and see if anyone has an FTP site and ask them to put halflife up on the site so you can download it.

been playing that for the last 3 years...
it was/ still is fun..
cheating made it suck for a while, now i am just in for the fun, no more claning for me...
but anyhow, if you guys really want to get your clan organized, go to www.warganizer.com my roommate made this site -still working on it- and it is really cool...
