1. NSFW DISCLAIMER is DEFINITELY IN ORDER! While I admire the forms displayed herein, I didn't expect to find such beautiful way to protest. (France, eat your heart out)

2. This convo is best served in Political Discussion forum

3. Yes, we do read the news. Yes we are aware of riots. Yes Bush=Hitler is a trendy thing to do. No, I'm no Bush admirer. It's just that the joke is getting old.

4. A country well-known for harboring escaped fascists after WWII does not deserve to cast a stone. Considering how many South American countries have benefited from Nazi stolen wealth taken there, they should all collectively STFU. Esp. The psychopath Hugo Chavez and his Socialist cronies.

5. DEFINITE LMAO @ protesters wearing latest in american fashions and trends set by americans (e.g. mohawks, jeans, etc).

at least they have the balls to fucking protest

im not saying the violence is good, but americans could learn a thing or two about standing up against things they don't believe in

All American fashion trends are actually European fashion trends 1 year earlier.

It's not that americans are afraid. We're just too busy shopping, selling crap on ebay, youtubing, myspacing, and just being bread into a completely passive society - perfect consumerist cows.

I often wonder about that.. and realize that this country has gone from 60's activism to complete "idontgiveafunkism" of 90's - present day.

Your average activist wouldn't even know how to protest unless his local starbucks closed.

so. that's that.

it's scary. really scary as to how passive this country has become. Our generation is a proverbial "veal". heck, nah... we're a bunch of Kobe Beef cows. Oh well.

Heck, you can even email your senator now to protest/request something changed. Coz' if you regular mail them - your letter has even less chance of being read due to past Anthrax scares. By the time it is sanitized, checked, delivered, etc - the issue is already a law.

anywho. we deserve the gov't we see in the white house. snooping, constitution-disregarding, murderous, mismanaged, chronie-infused, THE ABSOLUTE WORST GOVERNMENT IN THE AMERICAN HISTORY.

That's our Gen-X'ers fault.

Wrong. If that were true, we'd all be wearing speedos.

NSFW images are not to be posted in COR. i know everyone's idea of "worksafe" is different, but it applies mainly to nudity/obscene images.

i know it's not straight up pr0n or anything, and the topic itself is worksafe... but for future reference, please don't post images with naked tits.

Good. That asshole needs to be shown that the world hates him...in every corner of the globe including a sizeable part of his own country.

You thought it was laughable that they're all wearing "american styled clothes" and hair and what not(which is wrong first off, guess where the mohawk and fuax hawk started) and upset at George Bush. How is wearing American clothes attached to how much one country likes the leader of another? Have fun in that tree btw, you'll probably be alone

Goes back further than that generation, essentially if they're going to consume food, energy and oil at the rate they do, outstripping even other modern western nations, it will come down to a simple conclusion.
You want an empire in everything but name, you're going to have to fight for it when it gets scarce.
Goes without saying, not everyone is going to agree with having it taken from them...

Comparing Bush to Hitler? ahahha! OK! At least Hitler was smart at one point.

I know this was meant to be insulting, but it is by far the funniest shit I have read today!

If I'd lived in Roman times, I'd have lived in Rome. Where else? Today America is the Roman Empire and New York is Rome itself.

You know what I find amazing? Is the fact that no matter how you look at it, majority of world is somehow interconnected and interdependent on each other, yet we all like to think that somehow we're all isolated and independent.

Bush needs to go, no question about that. Good news - he's got less than 2 years left. That's my positive thought for the day and it gets me through.

hitler made the country a super power out of a broken one. hitler > bush

hitler was a great man and a great leader (aside from killing all the jews).
