i personally prefer the mashup of Rhianna - Unfaithful & Robert Miles - Children

Why the unhappy face? I thought it was chilled out and worth sharing to say the least.

I respect that if you listen to the music production in the track, it has undertones of (The Art of Fugue or Die Kunst der Fuge)an unfinished work by the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach. . . I really like how the fugue in this piece works. . .Also dig the trippyness, but at last our likes and dislikes are subjective.

visuals were moderately interesting, but it was basically a bad ambient mix of wavy gravy

As opposed to what ambient mix of wavy gravy? I'm curious and wouldn't mind listening to it.

the ambient mix lacked all of the intricate movements that made wavy gravy such a god damn choon. i've never heard any other ambient mixes of wavy gravy, so i don't have anything to compare it to besides the original. i think the original would've had a stronger effect played with those visuals as well

lady bugs fucking to a poorly remixed Sasha track was rather low on my list of things I want to see in life.

You should watch the original "Microcosmos" movie - it's incredible.

The actual snail romance scene is really beautiful

I didn't find the remix or the colored version of random microcosmos clips that inspiring

How was that even a "remix?" It was just the "keyssolo.wav" file from the Sasha remix contest looped over and over, starting off at different points.

Posted by nefardec on Mar-14-2007 03:29:

Considering the clip is a VJ promo or something it is probably referring to the video as a remix and not the sasha track.

In any case it's not really interesting to me...

Fair enough I Can see how this remix lacks a fuller sound with beats and such.

I was just about to say the same thing

I should know - I happen to be working on my own horrid remix of Wavy Gravy at this very moment

Posted by MrJiveBoJingles on Mar-14-2007 06:07:

I tried remixing it once. My effort never saw the light of day, fortunately for the musical masses.

It's also void of any emotion that the original Wavy Gravy has.

The only remix that I've heard of Wavy Gravy that I truly liked was Habersham's just because it was so different and gave an entirely different vibe. They made the track their own, didn't just take a few elements away.

I've yet to hear that, can you point me in a direction where I might?

When will the RJT mix be available?

I'm actually working *really* hard (way harder than I probably should be for the total lack of progress I've made) on a remix of a recent Hamptons release, so "Wavy Gravy" is kind of on the back burner - the expectations with that track are so high, that it's really just a project for me, not anything I'm seriously thinking of putting out there as I'm sure it'd be torn to shreds as soon as anyone heard it
