i wish i was there again this year. last year was insanity. although i was only there for a few days, i had a blast, and it was one of the best trips of my life.

unfortunatly this year things sorta fell through. oh well. i'm going to be back in LA instead during the conference

And sucks because my parents are moving to Naples this week (mom is a traveller for work again and got a contract at a hospital there) which is like 90 minutes due west of Miami. Old people's town (they have valet everywhere there, including places like Borders!) but still so close to WMC.

i think its around 120 miles so 90 minutes is a bit low IMO but either way not a bad drive. i did the Alligator Alley many years ago during spring break - the glades are cool but booooring after a while.
