does anybody know the difference between a gemini x3 and x4 amp? both are aparently 600w but i can't find a site that gives details about the x4.. i can get them for the same price but i dunno wats the difference between them..

First of all can I say what bollocks about not being able to find any sites on the Gemini x4 - I typed "gemini x4" into Google and got hundreds of matches.

Apart from that, the main differences seem to be:

The x4 has analogue VU meters on the front, the sort with needles that skip back and forth. The x3 doesn't. It just has blinking lights to tell you the levels.

The x3 is 3U, the x4 is only 1U tall.

By the way, both of these amps are 600W *Bridged*, which means that it is running in mono. You can't get 600W stereo out of it, only 300W. But this is 300W per channel, which adds up to 600W in total. This is at 4 ohms. If you want a discussion about ohms and impedance, PM me.
