The "Give BTG an Education" Fund.
As all of you might know, my pal BTG thinks that anthropogenic global warming is a farse. Im okay with that. Hes in a (rapidly skrinking) pool of people in the world that may not have had 5th grade science at some point in their lives.
This isnt his fault! He just needs an education. A lot of my peers in the research community will tell me "Ang, just give up, hes obviously an idiot." NO. Thats not the way I work. My opinion is that if you educate the lame, they will at least get to the point that they can talk to you in complete coherent sentences and you wont have to wipe up so much drool. Its a win-win situation.
So, if anyone would like to contribute to the Give BTG an Education fund, let me know. I can open a PayPal account. I think this is a better use of our money than the dildo/toaster funds, anyways.
YES!!!!
I've tried to help him but he changes his mind about potential study subjects on a continuous tri monthly basis
Go ahead. I'll just use all the money on crack.

I agree. But first, I think you should define what anthropogenic means. I am sure that 90-95% of TA has no idea what that is.

Once I make the switch to UK-Lex, I will be purchasing some.

Thats awesome, Sam. There are other such local initiatives around here but none like they produce in California. Just make sure that your 30 bucks really is going towards green energy research. And not ethanol or hydrogen cells or biofuel. SUSTAINABLE green energy.
Neat.

how about perpetual energy?

I don't know much about hydrogen technology, but it strikes me as strange that there would be a push toward something so unsustainable... although then again, I live near the ethanol capital of the world, which is very proud of that title. |

| Originally posted by Ang ' ela_ie Its hard to explain, really, but basically its because hydrogen isnt a source of energy, it's an energy carrier. So you have to produce the energy and then process it into the hydrogen. Here is a slide to help illustrate. See how you have to get the initial energy from another source? |
