Camera repair shop???

What horrible timing....my camera crapped out on me today and I need to get it repaired before Wednesday for the conference. Does anybody know of a good repair place in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale??? Looked up a few places online but figured I'd ask around as well.

Rebel XT right? You could always rent one if you can't find a repair place. I have the same camera btw... rented a beast 70-200L f2.8 IS for the conference.

That lens is pretty much useless in a club.

It's useless in a night club, but at Nikki Beach it will be great... plus there are plenty of day shots to be had. Plus, I'm going to a Heat game and the Indy 300 in Homestead this week. You can get a Canon 50mm f1.8 prime for club shots for $80 paired with ISO 1600 and you might be alright. Club shots aren't exactly going to be art anyway though.

http://www.lensrentals.com/ has a good rep according to what I read, and when I called them up asking about availability (since this is peak rental time), they were very helpful. They can probably have something here by next week. No deposit required or anything. The local places were like 3x the price and had some ridiculous deposit to rent anything. Typical Miami customer service though I suppose... Good luck next week.

Yo Beetch thanks for the heads up on that site. Looks like I'm gonna rent a camera from them because every repair place in south Florida either...doesn't have the parts, only has a tech once a week, has to send it away, or can't fix it in time. To fucking bad I'm not home in NYC where I could prob get it fixed the same day.

What did you end up renting?
