whatever happened to the crobar franchise ??????

it seems they also changed the name of the one from chicago and buenos aires

why was that ?????? a business strategy ????

the owners of studio had provided financial backing for the two guys who own the crobar franchise; they turned off the money spigot, so the crobar "name" and the guys who own it had to pack up and move, allowing the original (financial) owners to simply rename the club and keep running it the way they had.

the guys who own the crobar franchise are looking for new investors and a smaller space to re-open in nyc.

word is they might take over avalon
