Vonage Wireless City question

ok i installed a pretty good top notch internal wireless card in my laptop and ever since i got back from PCB i keep getting the little pop-up windows in the lower right of my screen that say "Wireless Network Connection 3 FREE PUBLIC WiFi - Signal Strength Very Low"...then 2 seconds later it'll say "Wireless Connection Not Available". I heard Vonage was doing this thing where the entire city of Houston was going to run on a wireless wiFi thing but i'm not sure when it's starting. anyone in the h-town area having the same problems? i'm not running wireless in my house anymore btw.

mel was getting that every now and then too....

i think they are kinda turning it on and turning it off as they are working on setting it up. i don't think it is usable yet.

yea see thats what i was thinking at first but since Katy's almost outside the city limits i didnt know if it was that we just couldnt get any signal out here because of that. this things driving me nuts so i just manually turned off the wireless card until i get to the university tomorrow.

btw dude tell Mel i said hi...and that she needs to go work for Gensler, not H.O.K.

lol i remember her telling me at the Gab/Dres gig. I told her HOK sucks and I almost got dropped. Then I told her I wanted to work for Gensler right after college and she offered to submit my resume' to HOK, which btw I'm planning on doing as soon as I get these core design classes outta the way this semester. The offices at HOK are freakin sweet though! Man Ive never seen offices so modernized like they have em'.
