So during lunch hour today, I went to one of my favorite sandwich places in downtown New York - Zams Panini Toast. I get a #7 - grilled chicken, mushrooms, am. cheese, and mayo. The guy makes, I pay, and head off back to my office. I get to my desk and begin feasting. Now ... I notice that the sandwich was somewhat sweet. I couldn't pinpoint exactly what ingredient was the source of this, but the whole sandwich had this peanutty, sweet auroma to it. It threw me off a bit, but I went on, unable to stop in my hunger. Then I noticed a stream of yellowish, gentle goo seeping out of the side of my sandwich. I thought - "ooh...mayo". Then I tasted it and realized ... this wasn't mayo ... it was vanilla pudding. The fucking guy that made my sandwich put vanilla pudding all over my chicken and mushrooms instead of mayonnaise. I almost threw up and proceeded to feel very dirty and violated.
I called up Zams complaining, and they're delivering a fresh, properly made #7 to my desk tomorrow. But I still feel dirty
Cor Summary: The guy at my favorite sandwich place put vanilla pudding on my chicken sandwich instead of mayo. And I ate most of it before I realized what was wrong.

ps, pudding and mayo taste VERY different. how the hel didn't you notice right away?!
because the whole time i was just thinking "please let this be honney mustard"

I was worried your were going to say his snot...
Yeah, as far as yellow goo goes, you could have done a lot worse than pudding.
Oh man! I saw that combination on Fear Factor once!

Rule number one when eating food prepared by anyone else but yourself is that at the first notice that something doesn't taste right you check it out and inspect it. Not only do they taste different, the look different and smell different..
....you poor soul.
I've put vanilla pudding on my chicken before. It was fantastic. Stop fucking complaining, the guy that made your sandwich is obviously a culinary genius.
