This might be off topic: ...

I had a little party tonight celebrating some good news I got earlier today:

I am cancer free.

I had *kimo* twice over to beat skin cancer and as it seems I have done it. It's just too much to share how I feel but its a happy moment in my life I had celebrated with my close friends tonight.

Life is too short but most beautiful when you get intouch with its moments.

Enjoy it

Good for you!
My family has been going crazy since my aunt got diagnosed with lung cancer. She doesn't have much left, so we are all just playing the waiting game...
It's especially hard since all this is happening in Peru and it's having my mom crying all day, it's kinda hard for us to get home at this time.

Now, take care of that skin!

Thanx, I tried to avoid the sun-shine for 18 years ever since the doctors told me to stay away from sun radiation and I still got it. It was sarcastic enough even though I haven't been to the beach in the day time in 18 years living across the street from it all that time.

My prayers will go out to your Aunt. (My Aunt died of breast cancer in early age and my mother had a surgery to remove ... too. Apparently Cancer has a lot to do with technological advance of 20th century.)

Well, yes and no.
While my aunt lived here, she volunteered for medical research numerous times, plus smoking 3 packs of cigarettes a day.
Ever since I can remember, she would go to surgery for random things that apparently all that medical research caused. As much as it may seem they are offering you, you end up fucked because you're basically giving up medical expenses your healthcare would otherwise cover for.
But I guess she also dug her own grave with the smoking. I'm getting to embrace the fact I have to quit now. I kinda like smoking, but it's a terrible death. Whenever I feel it's time for me to quit I will (I'm getting there... )

Excellent. Take care of yourself and enjoy it.

We'll toast to it next time (first time) we see each other.
