Posted by ElBazzo on Mar-23-2007 12:04:

Its suppose to be out sometime in April as far as i know.

Posted by Amduscias on Mar-23-2007 15:01:

this track has been stuck in my head for the past 3 hours o-o

Posted by StanVoid on Mar-23-2007 15:06:

Gareth is not the original artist, the track is

Albert Vorne - Formentera What (Gareth Emery Remix)

other than, solid production.

true but it says 'gareth emery remix' underneath the club elite logo

Gareth Emery remix is a brilliant tune

I'm afraid I find 95% of gareth emery's tracks to be shit. I liked GTR - Mistral, so you can guess what the others make up

this one has that Mistral feel though, definitely during the breakdown

after hearing stuff i wasn't keen on in 2004/5/6, i haven't even bothered to check him out now. his tunes with lange were quite mediocre, and some of his remixes, like one from mart of this board's good original tune were totally formulaic.

I've found a sample, and it's not bad. It's very predictable at the same time though, you can tell when things are going to happen/change but it's definitely not the worst i've heard from him

yeah it's not too surprising, there are no abrupt breakdowns or anything ... but ... that's pretty much the trend in trance today. I don't mind it really, I look for more fundamental elements in tracks that I like - melody, atmosphere, things like that.

Yeah, i've found stuff that without being too much of a clich of a word; actually trance's me more, tickles my senses in a fresh-ish sounding way. There are a few epic things which really work for me, but not a ton of them

i need to find a sample of this...

thank you kindly...

edit: this would be nice to hear in the club setting definitely. nothing too fancy and over the top, but it's nice.

Gareth Emery productions are really appealing to me somehow. Can't say that about much else getting played by Armin these days

Posted by ElBazzo on Mar-23-2007 19:24:

Here's a good video of him playing it at Trance Energy.

Brilliant tune.

Posted by josh rising on Mar-23-2007 19:31:

it's alright... definitely straight up predictable mcprog, but the energy is good...

Posted by alefort on Mar-24-2007 02:45:
