King 16 bit lolitas appreciation...

i am i love with 16BL. anyone else? what are your favorite tracks or remixes of theirs?

i personally like "sedna" (even though i listened to it too much, so i'm taking a little break from it),
"wasted all this time"
sander kleinenberg - my lexicon (16 bit lolitas mix) and the
openair - somthing to live for (stef vrolijk & 16 bit lolitas remix)
girl nobody - smile & beware (stef vrolijk & 16 Bit lolitas remix)
nimrod - my life (16 bit lolitas remix) IN love with that one!!!

i would love to see them live... unfortunately i don't think they will be coming into massachsetts anytime soon.

for anyone who has never heard of them, here are some samples:

Nimrod - "My Life" (16bit Lolitas vocal remix)

openair - "Somthing To Live For" (Stef Vrolijk & 16 Bit Lolitas remix)

16 bit lolitas - space time

i think more people are familiar with this one: "sedna"
16 bit lolitas - sedna

edit: and speaking of "wasted all this time, does anyone know where in the world i can buy this track?! i can't seem to find it anywhere but two of the sets i have from them

Check these ones Andrea:

16BL - Passing Lights / Dance Fiction
MK Ultra Project - Gamma Rays (16BL Remix)
16BL - Chucknology
16BL - Destiny

"Neptune"

The only tune they've done that I haven't really cared for is their mix of "My Lexicon," and I don't remember disliking it - just not really having anything in it pop for me.

Otherwise, these guys are amazing - and their DJ sets are ace as well

"Destiny" was my TOTY for 2006

I think I'm the only person who just can't stand Chucknology.

NVL is where it's at for me.

I rather like the Bloomies buyer...I don't know why.

Sounds pretty good... To me, they sound like more groovy version of Booka Shade.
Anyway, will definitely check out more of their stuff.

i like some of booka shade's work too! i had to put "triple identity" on my ipod a couple of nights ago. simple song, but it makes me crazy! i've heard a few other works of theirs as well...

Iremember hearing Sedna on a TA's mix a while back, Could have been UWM's or RJT's. Absolutely amazing song. Testament to the track that it's not gotten boring after all this time.

16 Bit Lolita's is probably the only producers/dj's that could keep me going insane more than an hour straight, with their own recent (like last 12 months or so) productions. And then I really mean insane

Destiny is a nice track thought I think you'd have to be in a certain state to enjoy it...I often don't like it most of the times I listen to it.

Dance & Fiction I only really like one segment of the track..the buildup I think at the 6 minute mark and then the track explodes.

The only track that I really enjoy from them is Sedna.....really nice IMO.

Posted by nefardec on Mar-24-2007 05:39:

definitely a fan:

love gamma radio, chuck nology, sedna, the remix of unicorn, and many more

Posted by Beatflux on Mar-24-2007 06:55:

I can see why you like 'em. Pretty cool.

If you haven't already, check out Night Falls, Darko, Pong Pang, Mandarine Girl, Wasting Time and In White Rooms. My favorites by far, all on their Movements album.

They are the biz for sure
Make sure to check tracks they've done with/for other artists (aka produced @ Lost Orchestra studios) as it's all quality!
