McDonalds: the secret ingredient is... lighter fluid

Point of interest #1: "Chicken" McNuggets are actually 56% corn. Sure, they involve chicken, I guess...

Point of interest #2: Aforementioned nuggets contain tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ), a form of butane.

I'm still going to eat it.

If true, goes to show the FDA doesn't stop anyone from actually putting shit in your food. Seems like you can buy yourself a couple ppl in the FDA to let you put shit like this in your food.

Lesson: Cook your own food. Seriously. You'll feel happy overall.

Sure these thieves can get away with shit like this, however, it is still up to US if we want to be lazy and eat out or do the right thing ad buy some healthy food and cook at home.

The driving force in consumerism is feeding people's laziness, and GOD have we gotten lazy.

Actually, if you think about it, laziness is the root cause of most bullshit in our world right now.

so that explains my purple turds

McDonalds has a lot to answer for...

Not least of which is the use of trademarks to mask the true indentity of the source of their foods. ..Like the "all beef patty". All beef patty is a trademark, and not entirely descriptive of what's in the patty itself (like all mass-produced mince-type products, it contains lips, hooves and assholes flavoured with beef stock. yum.)

I cook my own food.

Thats not Butane as you and I know it its a completly diffrent molecule read down a bit and find the facts. Im not saying Mcdonalds is healthy but id still have it once in a while. Many things in life can kill you am I going to be a vegetarian NO. Everything in moderation that s the key...

We munch on candies at every party like thats any good for us COME ON people...

2005 was a bad year. You should try Mikey D's now..mmmmmmmm. This so called warning thread is making me hungry for McDonalds now

No, it's not butane. It's a modified form of butane. And yes, I know that chemically, even a tiny change has huge effects on the nature and qualities of the molecule. But honestly? We chow down on pills that make no representation to be "food" and as far as I know, they're not quality-controlled by a government regulatory agency. To use, "Well, you put other chemicals in your body, so if a restaurant wants, they're perfectly justified in doing the same," as an argument is beyond silly. That's like saying you can put arsenic in someone's fries 'cuz they smoke.
