Ordering Food

Do you have one of those friends who take forever to order at a restaurant? It's like they're making a life altering decision. In 24 hrs you'll be shitting it out, just make a decision already. Oh and don't try to invent something thats not on the menu... Can I have the chicken salad without the chicken?

Ordering food, for myself is a big deal. If I am paying 70 dollars for a meal, it better be de-fucking-licious.

The cost of the meal has nothing to do with what he means. The cost doesn't determine if it's going to be good, the way it's being cooked it going to determine the fate of the taste.


And yes I hate it. It'll take me 5 minutes to scan throughout the menu and a few more minutes to decide what I want, and voila, while others sit there and look dumb founded as to what to eat.

I know it doesn't, but it better be, or else I don't pay. I've eaten at a 4-star restaurant, and wasn't satisfied with my meal. I complained, and the meal wasn't put on the bill. It's your right as a consumer to be offered a good meal.

I think igk means any kind of restaurant regardless of price or class. MC Donald's to the Ritz Carlton...people who take longer that 5-10 minutes ( depending on menu size ) should be sent home lol.


Still..price still has nothing to do with it. Yes if I am paying 60$ for my meal I want it to taste good, but the length of time I spend deciding what I want is not going to determine how good it will taste.

Some chefs have too much of an ego. So they screwed up, so what! Learn from your mistakes! It's happened to me twice where the chef comes out and once where he has dissected the food right in front of me, saying that there is nothing wrong with the food. Then I said, "The sauce is grainy" He tasted the sauce and went back into the kitchen cursing under his breath.

yeah price has little to do with it. just some ppl can't make a decision to save their lives. Then after you get your order they look at your meal longingly like they made the wrong decision.
