Hi there,

FYI, label Total Wipes launches a remix contest for my last track "Can't help myself" featuring American vocalist Kerie Geni.

PLAY SAMPLE

EP will be digitally released around 15th of may.
So, for those who would be interested, here's a few notes:

Remix requested style : all melodic vocal dance floor style

One minute clips deadline : April 23th 2007

Final mix deadline (just for requested versions) : May 7th 2007

Music stores : iTunes, Beatport, Juno.

Remixer royalty : 25% on the net price.

Yeah i wasnt too sure on which part either...so I just sent in the begining of the breakdown to the build up and faded out right when they wanted more hahaha dunno if it worked

Did they send you my sample yet albedo?

Actually, the 1 minute clip should be the most interesting part of your current work. If it catches our attention, then yes, we ask for more (and I give to the label my own feedback too). But, if the clip is not retained, then we don't ask the remixer to keep working on it.

When you say "all melodic vocal dance floor style", you are talking about submitting club mixes right? Dj Friendly versions?

Yes, that's right...
But actually, we already had other styles of remixes (not always dance floor-like), and we finally decided to keep some of them because of the great sound and inventivity.
I'd say that the work on the sound is very important... but unfortunately, I also heart many trance remixes of this song a bit too similar from one to another.

Just to let you know that 7 remixes have been finally selected.
That makes 3 EPs (volume 1, 2 and 3) to be released from June on label Total wipes (beatport + juno records).
