Chinese Secret

You ever notice tea at a chinese restaurant taste better than any green tea you buy in the supermarket? what's their secret?

Posted by IpLaYWiTLiGhTs on Mar-25-2007 21:20:

the random cockroaches that accidently fall in the pot when they're skimmering around the kitchen

It's because they're probably using Chinese green tea at a Chinese restaraunt. In China, they roast their green tea. Japanese green tea can taste grassy because it is unroasted, especially if brewed too long

Green tea is definitely good shit.

No tea tastes better than Arizona iced tea.

Posted by blazed it on Mar-26-2007 05:57:

Most Chinese restaurants serve black tea and not green tea.

Posted by a.chan on Mar-26-2007 12:48:

I agree, i used to live in a city where %80 of the population is chinese, im pretty sure that most if not all the restaraunts serve black tea.

a tea ball costs anywhere upwards of a couple bucks for the cheapest models so if someone gives me that "omg I don't have one" crap I'm going to beat them to death

and all tea addicts you should shop at:
http://stashtea.com/

or check out your local lose leaf tea shop.

I own somewhere around maybe 600+ grams of lose leaf of various brands and types

cuz maybe its not green tea ?

LOL @ muhfuckaz who put sugar in em..
