It's official, Shine is the worst club of all of WMC

Sander's night couldn't get any worse. The security was literally a gang, doing whatever they could to push people around. The only people they ignored were the DJs, but managers, friends and anyone usually on stage at any other club were yelled at, threatened and harassed. Hell, the stage security even threatened to kick me out if I even said one word to Trent!

I think the topper was when Sander went on...they would only let one extra person at a time, so the booking manager, and even sander's manager were yelled at to "shut up and get the fuck off the stage".

On top of that, while leaving the club and walking through the hotel, I saw one of the security guards grab a girl by the arm and start to pull her back towards him and start hitting on her!

I doubt Shine will be used ever again by any major DJ if this is any indication...everyone on security should be fired.

Just got back to the hotel. Tonight was the first time I had ever seen Sander and was not impressed in the least. The guy that played right before Sander KILLED anything else I have heard this week - except for Booka Shade, of course He was playing some dirty, techy tracks I've never heard - loved the hell out of it.

Shelborne was way too crowded and unorganized. Even with pre-sales it was too crazy. I didn't want to deal with that drama and didn't even go in the club once I got my wrist band. It's as if they oversold the event.

No it wasn't Trent, he was on the set before, which was pretty good. Agreed though, the guy before Sander ripped that shit up. I'm assuming it was either Rene Amesz or Chuck Lepley, but I don't know what either one of them look like. Any help?

Frankly I thought the venue was fine. The SOUND was good... the single most important aspect. Better than Pearl or Mansion even.

Sander killed it, didn't see any opening acts... got there @ 3.

Loved the outdoor bathrooms...

yeah. i'm never going back to shine. It was by far the WORST experience of WMC the BOTH (Get Salted & Little Mountain) times i was there. I left before sander even came on. however, all three opening DJs killed it.
