recommend me rock/slow stuff such as...

muse - anything from them
foo fighters
any era is fine, im looking for nice easy to listen stuff or stuff with strong guitar riffs. Not keen on radiohead at all so don't try that
but I know there's more chance of me finding the odd cor whore who knows something than using the music discussion & being told rock is dead because xxxx killed it or something

and the verve have their moments. oasis aren't my style, i'm not a fan of the gallagher brothers. I'm just looking for something, but i'm not totally sure which way to go, and a lot of what i've seen doesn't appeal to me at all, but i know there is stuff that does
