HappyHappy REVIEW:03.23.2007:Foreign Exchange Strikes Back at Global Village

What can I say, I think I spent barely 20 miinutes with my friends all night so I must have either met a lot of cool new people or I was wandering on King St. mumbling to myself and passing out every ten seconds. Wait, that second one was Ray. Welcome home dude!

Great night everyone, thanks for coming out.

Posted by DigDeep on Mar-26-2007 14:41:

rich ate cake out of a sandwich bag.

the only word ray could mutter was 'fuck'.

the draught gave me pink eye for some reason.

apparently, i had 'hoes' on this night.

music was loud.

harcourt was teh good.

Well I think I was the only sober person there and man do I regret it lol. Meh gotta do the DD thing once in awhile. Everyone had such a good time and the music was so good I felt and partied like I was under the influence. It was definatly a shit show.....and I loved every second. So many good people there, everytime I turned around I knew someone. I didnt even realize till I got there that this was an actual hostel lol.

Jeff you threw down an amazing set as always and I am voting for you as Local of the year already man, can't wait until O lounge on the 13th dood. BTW if you didn't get a ticket for the bus ride down to O Lounge for a all red and black event on Friday the 13th for Nathan Barato and Jeff Button you are missin out!

Lovin the patio there as well. Time went sooooo fast so I know that I had a freakin blast, still really unsure about the flying monkies that hit me in the head........

There are many stories from this night that willl live with me forever, right Geli......lol! Definatly doin this again, thanks to all who made it out, nice meeting a few new people. Jaime, happy birthday again buddy and nice meeting you.

I didn't drink enough before last call
My bladder told me to turn right at the door, and my thirst directed me to the left, but my bladder won.

Then it was too late

Kind of like burned hair and sex...or sex with someone with burned hair FTW.

Tunes were awesome, but I wish I didn't go - paid for it large

Posted by harcourt on Mar-26-2007 21:22:

Was good times, a lot of people came out that I hadn't seen in a while. Glad there were no pictures taken of the lovely jacket and scarf I managed to acquire and proceeded to walk around in. lol

I wasn't going to go, but then I said wtf...and am glad I did, even if it was by myself. I ran into a few TOTA's which made my night. The setting was a little different than what I am used to in the guv and cozo, but the intimacy level more than made up for it. I felt connected with everyone because of the size. Everyone was friendly, and I was only dissappointed when it finally ended.
I can't say enough about the music.
Thanks to Jeff, urban legend, shanny, and everyone else for making me feel welcome. Until next time.

that was fun from what I witnessed!!
