Aphex Twin - Didgeridoo: Greatest Trance Track Ever??
And all the sudden there's a new number 1....
http://listology.com/content_show.c..._id.14398/Music
Does anyone have a sample or a download of this??

I wouldn't heed it. That list is a load of bollocks and a good portion of the tracks it ranks highest are nowhere near trance. Seriously... Phat Planet, trance?
Certainly is up there for me.
What an incredible song.

After looking at the list, that is one hell of a top 15. Maybe not the greatest ever, but a solid list none the less.
Taking this stuff to seriously does not help anybody. The author wanted to make a list, and thats what they did. It is not definitive, and not all encompassing, so don't worry if your favorite tune is not on there. Its just somebody's opinion.
This guy has got top list of everything...books, albums, etc etc...
wouldnt take him too seriosuly......
here's his top 15 Trance mix album......

Not bad actually.........
digeridoo is a crazy mental acid breakbeat track, i guess its trance though
That's a pretty fuckin' random list you've got there. First time I've seen Balil - Parasight (which is a solid tune) mentioned next to the usual poppy prog-trance. Not to mention Cherry Bomb - Eclipse. And throwing Psychic TV into that bunch, what the fuck, seriously? I could go on, but I won't.
EDIT: Not criticizing by the way, I've just never met a person who likes epic trance AND acid/oldschool trance. Except maybe Cobalt.

There are plenty more.
a good list for the most part, but i think the following should all be MUCH higher:
185. minimalistix - close cover
221. jan johnston - flesh (tiesto mix)
233. johnny shaker - pearl river
237. cass & slide - perception (vocal mix)
281. art of trance - easter island (cygnus x mix)
289. warrior ft. imogen bailey - if you want me
354. lustral - everytime
and then there's some pretty undeserving tracks towards the bottom (commander tom - attention!, coca & villa - la noche, whiteroom - someday, etc.), and others like fragma - toca's miracle, signum - what ya got 4 me, freefall - skydive, that are just on his "to download" (whatever that means) list...
Agree with his top 15 songs much more than his top 15 albums.
There is no such thing as "greatest xy ever". Any toplist is quite subjective.
I don't get it, why everything always has to be on some list. Just let it be, some people like it more, some less. That's the deal.

I soon bored of Digeridoo when it was originally released. I couldn't even say it's a trance track.
I'd have to look through my back catalogue at home for a personal top 10 but my number 1 would be Solar Stone - The Calling (Jonas Steur Remix). Been around in Jonas Steur mixsets for years but it's finally seen its official release. "As I looked across the still waters, a voice spoke to me from the darkness. It said "this is the threshold to your sub-conscious"". Recently Steur seems to have lost his way a little in my book but at his best he's an absolute genius & this remix turned what was originally a poor track into a work of art
It's a controversial choice & it wont be as well known or popular as 100's of other trancers but for me this track sums up absolutely everything I loved about trance.
...Then again what do I know? I'm the only person in the world who despises Born Slippy
I'd struggle to describe it as trance too.
