M.I.K.E.'s new album?

I heard a single, Changes 'R Good (Back IN Tranco Mix) on Blank & Jones' The Mix, and it's to die for ... is the rest of it any good?

not much to tell. Changes 'R Good is the first release of M.I.K.E.'s new artist album that will be released in the summer. Here's some info taken from his website:

Hot news!!!!
Mike is working in the studio already on the second chapter of his M.I.K.E. guise, the follow up to the much acclaimed album "The Perfect Blend".
Working with Jimmy Pop (The Bloodhound Gang) Andrew Bennett and a special guest, "this album will have a wide approach", Mike says, "with this album i will show my future and my perspectives towards the edm scene of today".
And a new compilation coming up as well, followed by a world-tour!
Called "Armada presents M.I.K.E. London 07", the compilation will be LIVE recorded @ the Gallery in London on the 2th of march, and sheduled for release by the end of march! More info to follow..

The new M.I.K.E. is called "Changes 'R Good" and is a teaser from his second artist album which is due for summer 2007.
It's a track with a big summer vibe, and will come in 3 mixes.
The "Back In Tranco Mix" and the more proggy houzy "Maintro-Mix".
Also Juha aka JdotP from Sweden did a great remix wich will be added to the package. The preview in the audio section contains both mixes!Enjoy...

Yeah, I remember reading somewhere, though, that Changes 'R Good or perhaps that Armada record has already been released.... couldn't find it anywhere, so I was wondering if anyone had any news about it.

I think that one was nice

I'm expecting that the new album will have less trance on it and more tracks like Changes 'R Good. It'll depend on personal taste if you think this is a good evolution. Personaly I don't really like that Changes R Good track, and I'm still hoping for some real trance

that Active Sight album has been posponed if I'm not mistaken btw. Fred Baker wanted to focuss his attention on his main alias (Fred Baker) this year and I thought he also wanted to come up with an own album

It was alright. I love Innerlife in particular.

But yeah, Mike hasn't really produced anything memorable since Voices From The Inside, so I'm not expecting anything spectacular from the new album. There's a lot of potential in his new trance tracks (Changes 'r Good, Dream Odyssey, Time Goes By, ...), but for some reason he never manages to develop it. He seems to have taken a step backwards compared to last year and the years before.

This album will suck. I totally lost my fate in M.I.K.E.

It seems like he's confused and doesnt know which direction to head to anymore.

i think this new album will be massive. his last album was great with the two disks of huge tracks. i have a feeling the album will be more in mikes new style and he will not be so keen on providing for the closed minded 'stuck in 99' fans. then he will prob save his trance sounds for the absolute/active sight albums..

i will agree changes r good isent the best track
but its not bad
as for his last album it was genius besides like 1 or 2 songs
alot of artist albums these days the artists do more tracks that dont really work in clubs like more slowed down or more popish
m.i.k.e was different alot of his tracks were banging and would work in a club
and besides this is m.i.k.e he is full of suprises just when you think you had enuff and he cant get any better he drops another mind blowing track
dont sleep on him

Really? Which mix did you hear? The one I heard was definitely trance.

He's talking about the Main Mix, which is electro/house-ish - nothing at all impressive.

yup, that's right.

I never heard that trance mix before. Heard it for the first time in M.I.K.E.'s Club Elite Sessions today, and that's one version I do like .
