Chinese or Japanese writing?

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you Asians out there could help me with this....
I volunteer with a small museum and they wanted to put this on display (it's not a big thing by any means) but they wanted the caption to be correct. Could anyone tell me if it's Chinese of Japanese? My guess was Chinese since I couldn't pick out any Japanese hiragana but that could be due to my limited knowledge of Kanji. Also any bit of even basic translation would be great but not required.
Any help is appriciated.

I feel bad for the rat that must be up your ass, the smell is crawling all over the internet tonight. Is a simple 'missssspeling' really worthy of a ffs hissy fit?
The quality of your posts is seriously slipping.
Sue me, I spelled a word wrong. If it was in a document that I felt I would be jumped on for incorrect spelling then of course I would have run it through a spell checker first. Go masturbate and get the stress from not feeling loved enough out of your system and let me know when it's safe to post on the internet again.

Learn to speak English before you attempt to learn Chinese or Japanese!

Hahahahahaha.

it's not the first time, i've finally had enough of your poor spelling. how old are you now? and you can't even spell a commonly used word properly?

For someone that is very anal about spelling, you sure don't care about capitalizing the correct letters.

haha.

As for you spelling, do you guys not use Firefox 2.0? It has built-in spell checking detection. If I spell a word wrong, I get the evil red underlining which kind of haunts my life!

I'm a little OCD like that.

FUCK! OCD is underlined word

I'm glad my poor spelling is so great at getting on your nerves. As for how old I am? I'm old enough to not give a shit if an incorrectly spelled word is going to upset some pre hormonal teenager that uses incorrect spelling as a means of 'intellectual' attack. Learn how to form a real argument against me next time.

not even close. Where ever you are getting your facts from, you should check your source. Let me guess you're so good at debating, you must be a debating major.

BTW.... FFS, LEARN HOW TO SPELL 'NUSTY'. IT'S NOT NUTSY!

wholly crap. after looking further into it, it's apparently Frank and Lorenzo Fertitt buying it (they are the two main guys who own UFC) but they left Dana out of the transaction so that it wouldn't fall under the mutually owned company ZUFFA ENT.
Now we can finally see all the Pride guys go head to head with the lazy UFC vets. Very cool news. It will be interesting to see how this changes Pride FC too.
