Girls Don't Like Trance

Is this news or am I a coward? Guys outnumber girls 10 to 1 at clubs, but why? The trance genre has taken a unique evolution during the past, oh say, argueably 5 years. That's when I got to it anyway. But how do the sounds of twisted waves generated in an artificial landscape amount to the such captivating music I here today and the girls who look elsewhere for music.

It's likely to vary from city to city, but for the most part, of all the major dance genres, trance had the smallest amount of female enthusiasts (at least in all the places I've been.)

Then take into account that only say 25% of them are fit, and then that 90% of the fit ones have already been snapped up by a guy as a result, it is quite gloomy for you guys out there

There's actually a decent female ratio for the psy trance scene out here... but then I think that's more due to the hippie chicks just needing an outlet.


You want a REALLY pathetic ratio? Try the minimal techno scene (Magda notwithstanding!).

i did notice there are more guys at the edm clubs...

at least this chick loves edm. i don't know any other girl who likes d and b though...

hard house nights seem to attract more girls too
