Classic house tune "Flowers"

I'm trying to locate a song really popular around 1997-8, a really deep house song with a female voicing singing "You gave me flowers..." and the word flowers is repeated several times throughout the song. The bassline also stands out. Anyone know the artist/title? I know this is a longshot but you guys are pretty good
