Outing Homos
so im listenin 2 howard stern and he says he was interviewing perez hilton.
whom likes to 'out' gay ppl or assume ppl are gay
yer thoughts?
do u think no one has a rite to out anyone?
like, its up 2 the guy to come out on his/her own terms?
Ahahaha, apparently people decide that someone is gay. *coughidmaandcribbycough*
I did that once to a guy.
Bad experience.
Ugh.

But I dunno, I guess you can't force someone out of the closet. It's definitely up to the homo to decide when the time is right.
yah
since perez hilton takes it up the ass he thinks he's master of the gay jedi elite
he needs 2 shut his face
:P
Perez Hilton runs a tabloid site (and a nasty one at that)...obviously there are going to be things on there that are offensive.
On the topic of it being right to out people (who are definitely gay) in general - that choice should be up to the person, not anyone else.

Perez Hilton has made a living in tabloids by being controversial.
It's a marketing ploy, don't pay much attention to it.
But I do know lots of gay males who, because they are gay, do feel that they have a heightened sense on who is gay and who is not. Regardless of whether they are right or wrong, just because they are gay, I still don't feel it's their right to try and tell people that "so and so" is gay.
I think it's a personal choice, and in all seriousness: who cares?

| Originally posted by Cosmic Fur I don't think it has anything to do with having heightened gay senses. you just need to be observant and judgemental. Until Lisa's post, i thought you all were just cleverly misspelling "Paris Hilton". But form the sounds of it, doesn't look like he's any better than Paris. Must be something wrong with the Hilton name. |

Perez Hilton is just yet another celebrity gossip columnist, except he blogs it instead of writing for the tabloids. I'm pretty sure that's not his real name.
As for outing gays, free speech is free speech, but I think he must have picked up one of the el cheapo gaydar models from The Source.
I was outted once...kinda... I have a gay brother-in-law. he and his partner and my gf and I went to a gay bar to have a drink, since he lives in the gay district and we were visiting.
A guy I went to college with saw me there...he has, since college, come out of the closet. He told everyone that he saw me in a gay bar, but "forgot" to mention my girlfriend, if he even saw her. That was ten years ago, and I'm still getting grief from that. In fact, a month ago I was heading to the guv, and I ran into an old high school buddy; he asked me if I was going to a gay bar....I have to admit, it was a burn.

perez hilton, couldn't come up with something more unique like maybe cumez bucketon?
My name is Josh.
I am a male.
I might be a homosexual.
I might not be a homosexual.
There is a divide in me that is also in any human being.
It is a possibility that I may prefer men to women.
It is a possibility that I may prefer women to men.
Why does it matter what you think of me?

i laughed at this one. great.
Where do bi people fit into this whole thing? According to the kinsey scale everyone is somewhere in between straight and gay.
I personally couldn't give a rat's ass about someone's sexuality and am tired of hearing the term gay used as an insult. Honestly who cares!!! Let everything do their own thing and worry about your own self.

Just before I met Mika, Mika was in Cali with Perez Hilton, and they actually got along. Perez Hilton didn't bring mika down at all, though even I have my suspicions about him... go figure.
