maybe some of the sounds were a bit thin, or old school sounding, which makes it sound like a 99' type chune.

totally agree man. i thought the main lead sounded very 99 just needed someone to confirm it.

still need to thicken things up.

the first part sound like something oakenfold would play in '96, the main lead then sounds like good old trance we loved... Nice tune!

I'm not really a huge fan of the kick used. It needs to be compressed and/or eq'ed differently imo. I don't think the synth sounds are too thin if you tweak the other elements better ( mainly the kick ), it has that old trance sound that can really work. Some little more delay and/or reverb couldn't hurt on some sounds imo.

thanks for the comments although the melody sounded a bit too cheesy to me in the end so i wentback to the drawing board with this one
