any chance you could scan this page with the add in I'm too lazy to go look for and pick up a booklet? If this is true it will be Sensation White, prolly party of their world tour. I'm guessing massive at the Olympic Stadium...this would be a sick labor day weekend, might have to save up some sick days for this, hehehe

cream used to be my favorite party of the year

sensation? we already have a white party, lets go black...

and let the music be dark, hard and twisted

Sensation! That's fkin serious. I hope we get our own epic trailer with that dude with the Sensation voice

this will shut the mouth of naysayers saying the scene here in Montreal was dying. The death of 514 productions doesn't mean the death of the scene!

Also, the Gillet group is planning on building a new 5000 capacity concert/show room near the Bell center and this will deliver more room for promoters to create parties and bring djs in there!

Posted by Salem on Apr-01-2007 18:53:

ill be coming out for that for sure, SENSATION

Sensation is not only in Amsterdam anymore... they actually move the show around a few cities in the world due to the high demand of this show.

If it comes to montreal.... fuck....

I wont need to go to amsterdam anymore...

wait i have more reasons to go there...

I wouldn't go that far. I mean, ok yes Sensation is coming here and all, but the production I don't think will be to the same levels as it is in Amsterdam. You will not get 60k ppl in any stadium here, nor will you have the same vibe. Parties in Montreal are great, but parties overseas are great and better (I am a bias bitch, I know )

Anyhow, I will be making another return to Montreal Labour Day weekend then I suppose

Posted by Spin Laden on Apr-02-2007 01:38:

The TO area could hold parties in excess of 20K ppl if the Ontario gov't was more lax (say Downsview). You got the Golden Horsehoe, that's a ton of ppl right there. Of course it'll be mostly a trancefest

Posted by jester on Apr-02-2007 01:39:

Fun fun ... hopefully Cream or whatever it will be called will be the long weekend in September again.

Better have a good line up like last time. Djs on top of their game.

Posted by Marcus007 on Apr-02-2007 02:27:

They won't be using the CREAM name Jesse but a party of the same grandeur will happen that weekend.

Posted by hardcore trancer on Apr-02-2007 02:48:

Holy shit,I just hope we get Sensation white or black or BOTH either way it will be fuckin awesome!!!

Damn you montreal for getting all the massive parties

Amsterdam made me appreciate how awesome Montreal is :P I can't argue with the quality and variety--insane quality, different strains for different effects, and the like, but the price is what really got me. Here, I have 2 or 3 numbers I can call, each with a couple of different options, but assuming quantities below an oz, it always comes out to $6-8/gram. I was blown away by 7-12/gram for stuff that I wouldn't necessarily say was appreciably better than what we smoke here. I haven't been to the supermassivecrazy events like Sensation, Pride or the Queen's Day parties--which I hear are amazing--but the normal club and bar scene bored the shit out of me. Maybe we didn't find the right places, but the music was awful! PLUS, the city functions on tourists, which means that there's no real organic, enduring hot spots with a regular local clientele. PLUS, everything else in that city is ass-scorchingly expensive. My buddies and I decided we'd have way more fun if we just stocked up on (expensive) bud and drove to Paris :P

EDIT: which is why the idea of packing up Sensation and bringing it to Montreal is awesome (even if it's not exactly the same thing)

Posted by SummerWolf on Apr-02-2007 14:11:

you know... i was looking at the sensation website...

and i was looking at their world tour...

Montreal isnt on the list...

Are we even sure they arent just using the same name to make more publicity?

New york has been on that list for a long time and might just be at the end of the year...

If they are just using the same name for money.. that will suck ass big time.

I just hope its the real thing coming down

http://www.sensation-white.com/port...emid=74&lang=en

and rethinking about this... isnt all the sensation that are happening around the world named Sensation White? Its a trademark... so... can someone confirm what is the real thing before false rumors start going out?

Posted by SummerWolf on Apr-05-2007 13:13:

Well, whoever said that this sensation was part of the Sensation White world tour is wrong.

I contacted Sensation White and ID-T productions and they both replied that Sensation in Montreal has nothing to do with sensation in Amsterdam.

They actually required me to sent them a copy of the flyer in the bal en blanc flyer and they said it was DEFINITLY not a Sensation White event.

So... that means that name is only used for publicity and money grabbing. Shame shame shame....
