Daylight Savings Time!!!
Who on TA turns their clocks forward at 02:00 on 2002/04/07? We (USA) do it... I know that the GMT timezone does NOT do it and the same goes in Japan and China as well! Who else DOES "Spring Forward" and who does NOT do it?
what the hell is "spring forward??"
If we were the only daylight savings peoiple (in the us) our times whoudlget all screwed up when we moved an hour and everyone else didnt.. it would make sense that everyone does it.
but ya know, since were america, we can do anything.. damn america. (shrugs my shoulders.)

O yipee! We get to lose an hour of sleep...just what I need
Not only that, but we get more daylight also...I like night (darkness) more.
wtf ever! here in boston it's saturday night and i can sleep how many hours i want, glad there's sunday! but still, i like darkness too! i like darkness and cold! winter! offtopic!
daylight savings sucks, caz my computer is already acting weird and my gozilla has to disconnect at specified time (i'm leaving it overnight on dial-up) + it is my job to reset all the clocks in the house... damn it...

Anyone else thinking this thread as futile? =P
it called daylight savings for a reason and we have it for a reason
it saves energy ppl, cmon, stop being selfish
not only its aids the environment, it also saves everyone (almost) lots of money
we dont lose an hour b/c it is compensated by the fall back time change so chiiiiill
To answer your original question ali92, I can tell you that in Denmark (and the rest of the EU I believe) we skipped an hour at March 31. Personally I don't mind the loss of one hour, as the clubs around here always adds one hour to their closing times when it happens

order=government
chaos=anarchy
Government was created to keep men in order and allow for a liveable, free state of existance.
You dont see animals having government, do you? They all live in harmony and each requires the other to survive. They don't have that terrible thing called human nature which is the REASON for "order."
Genius can be compared to animals in the sense that a genius, like an animal, knows right from wrong by conscience, not by being told what is right from wrong.
cheers

first of all, animals act upon their innate instincts, then they apply their learned behavior, and they have hierarchies
bisc 100 - behavior
animals kill other animals for evolutionary reasons (indirectly)
they live the way they live b/c their life has thought them so
they may not be as smart as humans, but they sure do have more organized structures than we do, at least when it comes to reasonable decisions, and the way of life
