Children of Men

just saw this movie last night. i liked it but it was depressing/scary. in fact this movie is the scariest movie i have seen in a long time and it's not even a horror movie... a lot of chaos going on. anyone else see it?

Yup it was a really good movie.

i did not like this movie at all. in my opinion, it tried too hard and ended up being somewhat cheesey/cliche in parts. i dunno.

The camera in this movie is insane. One of the best movies of 2006 for sure.

Awesome film. It's originality was so refreshing, and imo made up for any defect in the plot.

dope flick !

i wanted this to get the cinematography oscar but pan's lab snatched that as well.. really beautifully shot.. filled with metaphors & subliminal messages... one view wont do justice.. coppin the dvd this wknd.

I didn't think the movie was all that amazing. Interesting premise though.

Best movie I've seen. Saw it opening day, then saw it again the next day.

Posted by mezzir on Apr-02-2007 15:34:

I liked Bring It On better. Seriously, Bring It On is one of the best films of our time!!

Saw it, didn't like that much either, as Andrea said, it is very depressing and sometimes so negative about the future... I mean, we can't deny that's the direction we're heading but I don't know...

Honestly, I'm really tired of all the war movies showing blood all around... it's gotten to a point where I just don't stand it anymore. I liked V for Vendetta's style over this one.

war = blood and death. nothing pretty so it should stay that way.

v for vendetta - a cheap interpretation of orwell's 1984

I liked CoM but I think it was way over-hyped by film people. Over at RT they praised the movie like the second coming or something when it first came out and my expectation didn't meet the hype.
