2008 Honda Accord!!!! FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!

Hehe, I'm still shopping for a new car and I came across these pix!!! WOW!!! My faith returned to Honda!!! I'm not feelin' any of their current cars, but when I saw the new 2008, I fell in love!!! According to various sites, it will hit dealers late summer/early fall 2007. WOW!!! I think I'm gonna wait, til then to check it out. Hehehe

I see a Lexus IS 350 resemblance, as well as a G35, Altima, and Dodge Charger put together! haha

Does this mean you wouldnt consider a Toyota??

While the front end is aweome, I'm not a fan of the rear-end.

Also, word is that it's pretty compact, not much bigger than a Civic.

And note this is a "2008 Honda Accord Concept" and not a production unvieling. No one knows if this is what the production model will look like.

Doesn't seem to be much trunk space.

Seems like Honda might be gearing towards a direction to make the Accord more of a stylish vehicle for young drivers rather than a family sedan.

4 door looks wackzoz. the 2 door looks sweet though, kind of looks like scion tc in the front.

My sentiments exactly! I was feeling it till I saw the horrid back end

i'd have to kinda get used to the back end of it as well but overall, i do like it... especially for an accord...

Nope! It's actually longer than the current model, but it's the same width.

I saw the press conference this morning, and they said it's the same as the production model.

Yes, they want that. They said it. They said they want to target younger people.

And yes, just like you guys, I'm not feeling the back either. Hehehe. It's still better than their current Accords, and their new civic is freakin' ugly! Hehe

A coolio. I think it's nice as hell either way overall, but just don't like the rear end.

Dave

Interesting. Looks like a cross between the Acura TL and an Infinity. Too bad Honda has had the same wheel design since the mid 90s. They should really do something about that.

What press conference? After a quick pass, I didn't see anything in the news search engines, nor any press release from Honda. I'm trying to find out more info as I am interested in picking one up. Lemme know! Thanks. =]

Overall the accord is ok. I would have to agree with DaveT and say that the rear is not that impressive. I also prefer the 4-door over the 2-door....the 2-door is kinda lookin like an eclipse (me no likey).

It's the press conference earlier this year. When they first announced it.

the ass is ugly but overall aesthetics it looks nice. now if honda could give their vehicles some better torque numbers and possibly introduce an affordable rwd platform it would be golden.

nah. there used to be affordable rwd cars. then all the japanese companies that had them got rid of the affordable ones and started making them all 30K+
