What sites do monthly payment plans for gear?

I've been thinking of upgrading to a DJM 800, I just don't have the money up front to pay for one. I think I could easily handle a $15/mo payment for one, I'm just not sure if any sites actually provide such a system. I've asked agi and I am waiting for a response, but does anyone know of any credible sites that do monthly payment plans?

guitarcenter can but you need to register for their credit card program. americanmusicalsupply.com can and their payment plans are AWESOME (interest free, no questions, no registration, etc) but you can only divide up payments for 3 month pay periods or 5 month pay periods. also...you do realize that at 15$ a month you'd be paying off your djm800 for 100 months...thats a little absurd, you might as well just wait till you have the cash. agiprodj doesn't have finance options, their prices are low enough anyways that their margins would be non-existant with financing plans. i think if you have a checking account with a specific bank in the US pssl has financing options as well. i actually used the AMS's, 5-month plan to pay off my djm800 and although it was great and not a hassle i would recommend just waiting till you have the money as it's not worth it having to watch your cash for a couple of months...

I was hoping they would lower the price. Like... a lot

Wishful thinking I know. Extremely wishful thinking.

Adam, I know exactly how you feel right now - I've got the "new mixer" bug bad, and I'm thinking DJM 800 as well

Sad thing is, I can probably only muster half the loot if I sell my current mixer

Fixed.

My 62 is still running like a fucking tank though, so I don't see myself getting a new one for another couple of years.

So is mine, but I've grown to loathe the thing.

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice mixer, but I don't want another Xone mixer other than the rotary they have coming out with a 3 band EQ - no more of this 4 band nonsense for me!

you bastards.. i wish i could afford a nice mixer to begin with

i think im gonna buy a buddies efx-500 though, that is... after august..

americanmusicalsupply.com does have a rather nice payment plan it seems. Still to expensive for me.

And I thought 4-band EQ would be nice. Isn't there more control over the transitions? Or is it just a pain in the ass to get the mids to where they need to be?

new mixer > efx any day.

Get a mixer with built-in effects. I could throw you a Numark DXM 06 for $100 or so. It has to be better than that Stanton piece of shit you have, and it comes with 12 built-in effects.

This bug is serious. Call the CDC! I, too, have been looking into a DJM 800 and selling my 400. Lowest I've seen so far is eBay but no warranty (which I've realized is really not that big of a deal, only one year anyway).

Anyone seen any good deals on new or like new 800s?

lol.. i got this bug (and still having it ) since a month ago.. i needed something extra to have along with my new cdjs that i got recenlty so i got an efx 500 to kill the bug, but damn, i wish it did. so i researched this aswell.. notice that if u do get a financial plan, the price is not gonna be as good as those who sell you for a one time plan. I got these sites, they might help you :

http://www.planetdj.com/i--DJM800

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/prod...MIDI?sku=630321

anyone ever tried from those sites? or this service in general?

i got the bug a long time ago, seeing as my mixer is really a loaner that sucks so much the owner will never ask for it back.

since im tight for cash, i'm thinking Vestax VMC004XL. has 4 channels, XLR outs, as far as i am told, Vestax makes quality, so the fader curves and the faders themselves should be nice. it also allows you to cue blend between cue'd channel and the master. it also has LED meters (damnit i hate mixers where i have to match level by ear, sucks when in a load environment). the ONE thing that bugs me about it is there is no cue buttons. its a cue KNOB/SWITCH that allows you to switch between channels 1-4, and another knob which allows you to fade cue/master.

not that i REALLY need it, hell, even when i do 3 deck mixing, i only cue a channel at a time + master, but still, it kinda bugs me.

think i'll be picking it up. very nice pricetage on it too.

not having cue switches/buttons really bugged me about my old vmc-004. i loved the mix knob tho.

honestly, i would recommend picking up a pmc-37pro, or something off in that that direction. you know, a high end mixer from yesteryear. you can probably find a pmc-37pro, something like that in good shape for about the same money, or a few dollars more than a new vmc series mixer.

yes the pmc37 has cue switches, but it only has one meter, for the cue. it has split cue, if it's worth anything to you, but no mix knob like the vmc004. but the pmc37 has way better sound... and if you end up getting a gig where you need to take a mixer, i'd rather have the pmc37 than the vmc004.

pmc37 -better sound more features, it can grow with you. it can also go with you.

vmc004 -level meters on ever channel, mix knob.

choice is yours...

i'm a mixknob fan myself. used to be a split cue guy, but made the switch and haven't looked back since. i will check it out tho...
