Finding a place to live in Hamilton
umm, anyone help me out?
I know theres mls, apartments247 etc(which im using) , but Im looking for people who may know the area.
Ya, I have to find a place asap. I start classes on April 30th.
Something like this would be cool
http://danielsgateway.rentmaps.ca/s...niels/home.html
they only have locations in sauga and brampton, but its just something to give you an idea of what im looking for.
NO student housing
I highly recommend somewhere in the Barton / Kenilworth area. Good times.

i'm assuming you're going to mac?
westdale area for sure. if you have a car, theres a lot of places up the mountain that are nice, but wouldn't consider if your are planning on bussing around.
try http://hamilton.craigslist.org/ ..it has free listings and u can advertise as well.
don't know if this will help or not, but this is where i found my last apartment in hamilton:
GSCRentals
Westdale or South James areas are the nicest.
Stay out of North Hamilton completely and if you're at Mac I don't recommend the Broadway area. Stay on the same side of Main as the university.
If you drive and are going to Mac, consider something in Fundas...I mean Dundas, it's all of a 5 minute drive. There is bus service between Dundas and the campus as well.
great advice! thanks guys.
thanks for the craiglist link too.
I got a car, so a little commute is no big deal .
oh ya. Yes im going to Mac.
Yay! You're moving back!!
