Exclamation ANTIMERE - Crush_beta [Exp/Psy, 256kbps, 9:30]

*Link updated*

Hi all,

Here is a psy-ish style track I've been working on which is still a work-in-progress so i've posted as a 'beta' version. I would love feedback if you've got it

Arrow ch0000n!

first of all, antimere is a really cool name!! i can imagine it on billboards and global top20's.

some AWESOME fx in the beginning, really cool how you transform the sound.. this sounds like ART man

bass kicks in, the notes are really cool
the synths that kicks in 1.02 doesnt seem right, it sounds to amateurish compared with the rest of the sounds, but it's helllll cool if follows the bass when it pitches up!!

i think im gonna try something like that in my new track

2:10 wicked acid.

2:23.. so cool the harmony of those dark sounds.

another synth is introduced, this one sounds alot more professional and fits in the mix better.

god, this is the very first psy-track that makes me think.. damn this is awesome.

I could really imagine this tearing a club apart!

3;58, you clearly hear the phased, almost talking synth, nice effect

4:06, this will really rock a club, however it does sound muddy on my speakers, and theyre pretty decent speakers.

four on the floor beat kicks in unexpected. don't like that.

the melody change is not really my style, I liked the first melody a lot more!

6:26, now I like it alot more harmony of sounds give it that nice dark feeling, though it also has a little 1995 house'ish rythm!

I don't think that was intended but a nice detail anyway

at the end you introduce a new nonfat synth sounds almost like gliding, a little barok'ish, can't say I like that either.

(great hihat/shakers btw)

I think this is one of the best things I've heard from you!

(but that's based entirely on what I like, productionwise all your stuff sounds mint)

Hey Xeno,

listening what you got here.. was about time for a new track from you

intro ambience is nice and futuristic.
0:45 ... good warm bassline sound, I am not such a big fan of the kick, could knock harder.
1:10 time for a twisted Xeno melody. Very Goatic.
1:35 interesting stomping rythm.
1:55 nice layering
2:05 .. wow. That is a great electro sound, I totally love it! The following passage is just awesome.
2:45 new very oldschool synth. It works, it works sir!
4:40 ... thinks get darker now, no? Good selection of synths.
5:40 even a new variation. Sounds very playful.
7:00 I am not too sure about that plucked synth, a little too much reverb maybe. And the change came to abruptly.
9:00 that last passage is an interesting change to the melody but doesnt do too much for me, needs some FX eventually.. then you can fade it out into them.

Hell, this was a good track, probably your best. I sometimes wonder whats going on in your head to create these crazy melody patterns :P .. thanks for sharing

hey Xeno,

awesome sounds in this tune, wicked melodies! your on lsd when making this? lol maybe add some more percussions throughout the tune, and definatly turn up the kick and bass volume a bit more.. melody and synth work is cool, maybe add some creepy vocals throughout

cheers for the advice cybernetica, always welcome. I will take some of this onboard. The Fx idea at the end would work too.

Alright... a juicy atmosphere for the introduction. It is both spacy and creepy.

The bassline sounds rich, and the kick compliments it well. No complaints there until the track is loud enough that the kick seems just a tad masked away from where it is suppose to sit.

Good melody/harmony and effects.

Darker schemes start coming in after the 2-on-the-floor break. However, the melody does change a lot, and I am uncertain about it -- I can't say that I like it better of dislike it. It sounds more euphoric in a driving, chaotic fashion with some classical influence in the latter bars of the melody.

This interesting saw-synth really sounds like it is oldschool with an nice twist. At this point, I am starting to feel more at home with the melodic chaos. However, I think that this track is starting to fall under the "deep-psy" persuasion

Okay, we have a clap and flutter effect harkening towards the end of the track, and the bell-like melody suddenly goes away.

Very, very interesting. Fresh and tasty.
