r.i.p. guster
i wanted to let all you ta's know that guster passed away last night from a drug overdose. this forum meant a lot to him and you guys were often his only family when he felt as if he had none.
if you're wondering who i am, i'm the "ex" he refers to on here. never posted on here because it's his territory, but i'm into edm just as much as he was. he actually introduced it to me.
just thought you guys should know.
My condolences
(In case anyone's lost here, this is him)
my condolences to you, his friends, and his family, he'll be missed
wow crazy
+1 to mezzir's post
whuhhhh ... we talked about alcohol.. I dont remember drugs >.<
Wow. Just wow.
He seemed a real cool guy, I'm sad he's gone.
yeah, he had a serious alcohol and drug problem for at least the past 2 years. was actually the reason for our parting.. he would drink and do pills together. he only really loved to do shrooms and acid, but alcohol and opiates were sort of an every day thing.
I thought he just liked whiskey and TA >.O
As awful as it may be I hope this is a joke. In the case that it's not my condolences to you and those who were close to him. You obviously cannot really know someone through an Internet forum but from what those who post here knew of him he seemed like a kind, caring, and intelligent person. I'm sure he'll be missed
if its not a joke, that sucks.
anyhow, im glad someone posted about him dying. id be wierd of someone disaperas from ta and its because they die but non of us find out..

Was thinking of mentioning 6 Underground or Spin Spin Sugar but decided not to for some reason. So for some more good bands: White Zombie The Doors are amazing as someone mentioned. Tom Petty Rogue Wave (good indie band that opened for the Shins when I saw them in 2004.. bought their CD for 8 bucks at that show) Lou Reed's solo career.. Velvet Underground Jefferson Airplane is always fun. The Descendents if you like a more punk-ish sound.. Bad Religion Dave Brubeck Quartet CSNY Blues Traveler ...and if you like folk/traditional artists there's: Bob Dylan Joan Baez The Chieftains The Dubliners (trad. Irish ftw!) Arlo Guthrie tells a mad story with his songs.. Kay.. I'm having way too much fun with this thread. |
