Anyone here love The Office?

I'm so stoked for tomorrow's new episode, coming off a month and a half hiatus. Looks like there is a gonna be quite a fight between Roy and Jim.

I think the original UK edition of the show is perhaps one of the greatest comedies of all time. Ricky Gervais is a genius!

The infamous David Brent Dance:
"I've sorta fused Flashdance with MC Hammer shit"

haha i can tell that they're gonna build up the jim and roy fight to be intense and then when shit hits the fan it's going to be anticlimactic and awkward.. but it will be great

The American Office is great, but theres nothing like the original. Ricky Gervais is comedic genius, he never even acted or directed before the office. One of the greatest comedies of all time. His new show "Extras" might even be better. For those who havent seen extras, i highly reccomend a download, amazing

I agree.. Extras is also a fantastic show.. I can't wait for the 3rd series!

you should state which version this thread is about. I made the same mistake in the COR and it turned into discussion, about which is better and why the american version sucks.

Anyways I love the american version. And I can't wait for tomorrow. Anyone knows what's up with scrubs ?

1 of only 3 shows on tv I actually enjoy watching.

Good stuff!

It's really about both. I started the thread because the US one is returning tomorrow, so I thought it was appropriate. I am also curious which fans of the US one have seen the UK one, and their thoughts on it.

I always find with people that have watched both that they love which ever version they saw first.
I wasn't keen on the British version, but I LOVE the american one. Can't wait for tonight's episode!

i <3 the office! never miss an epsiode. it's one of the few tv shows i watch.

Both are great, but nothing touches the original.

The one where they have the guy come in and do a seminar about customer service issues and David decides to go home, get his guitar, and play songs from his old band days is absolutely golden... lol

Love it.

I'm probably the only person that thinks this is one of the dumbest shows ever made. So many people seem to like it, but I just think it's idiotic.

Well, maybe it's because I was in Scranton, PA, for a year on a contract, and the people there are actually that dry, idiotic, and closed-minded.

I love this show. Missed the marathon last week. I'm not able to watch it that often b/c of school...but the show is hilarious. I love when Michael burns his foot on the George Forman grill...and no one will help him in the bathroom.

I'll be watching!

Hands down, my favourite scene from the UK edition. That's always the first episode I show people when introducing them to the show. I can't watch it enough.. it's just too damn funny.

FREE LOVE ON THE FREELOVE FREEWAY WHERE THE LOVE IS FREE AND THE FREEWAY'S LONG...

Funniest thing is, on the dvd, the above song is performed and recorded in a proper studio with the assistance of... NOEL GALLAGHER!!!
