You evolved from monkeys (take that, walker)

I searched for any related threads, but came up with nothing. So without further ado:

Chimpanzees living in the West African savannah have been observed fashioning deadly spears from sticks and using the tools to hunt small mammals -- the first routine production of deadly weapons ever observed in animals other than humans.

right in two

Angels on the sideline,
Puzzled and amused.
Why did Father give these humans free will?
Now they're all confused.

Don't these talking monkeys know that Eden has enough to go around?
Plenty in this holy garden, silly monkeys
Where there's one you're bound to divide it
Right in two

Angels on the sideline,
Baffled and confused.
Father blessed them all with reason,
And this is what they choose?

Monkey killing monkey killing monkey over pieces of the ground.
Silly monkeys give them thumbs they forge a blade
And where there's one they're bound to divide it
Right in two

Monkey killing monkey killing monkey over pieces of the ground.
Silly monkeys give them thumbs they make a club,
And beat their brother down.
How they survive so misguided is a mystery.
Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability,
To lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.

[Cutting it all right in two
/ Cut it all right in two]
/ Cutting our love right in two]

Fight over the clouds, over wind, over sky
Fight over your lie, over blood, over anything
Fight over love, over sun, over nothing
Fight till they die,
(Ahhh!) over what? for their ending

[This whole part above needs a lot of help -
head for the Opinion page and help out!]

Angels on the sideline again,
[Mixing love / Benched along] with patience and reason.
Angels on the sideline again,
Wondering where this tug of war will end.

antagonistic as always, eh bud?

I believe the slight was directed at creationists, and not at evolutionary creationism.

No, the "slight" was originally at God as your title was suggesting evolution cancels out any kind of theistic or deistic intervention in any sphere by necessity.

The tone of your posts is the same ignorant crap all the atheists who just kind of understand the world a little bit better than everyone else always throw up to try to make the science diametrically opposed to God, religion, and spirituality.

Instead of saying, "Cool evolutionary study" , you decided to hop on the bandwagon.

None of these things answers any of the big questions such as morality, before the big bang, and what happens when we die. So why bring it up when it sheds no light and nothing intellectual on an already overwrought subject.

your problem, walker, is that you take everything far too literally. stop trying to flex your intellect and relax.

"Flexing [my] intellect" is an odd way to describe being thoughtful.

walker, are you gonna take this abuse? Fight back harder.

your thoughts were comprimised when you chose to call me ignorant.

when exactly were you being thoughtful? granted, it takes thought to type out 'your thread title doesn't make any sense', but that's far from thoughtful.

You were arguing entirely on semantics. I had no intentions of generating a discussion on evolutionary creationism, or atheism or any of that shit that starts wars and bickering.

i just think it's fucking cool that chimps have been witnessed hunting smaller primates with sharpened sticks.

ergo, .

Posted by bananas on Apr-05-2007 17:58:

this bananas is getting shittier

Posted by Orbax on Apr-05-2007 18:01:

arguing semantics is only negative when the meaning of the word(s) are irrelevant to the message. I guess I am crazy that when someone effectively posted:

Latest match at the Thunderdome Thunderdome THUNDERDOME

GOD vs EVOLUTION

It was a uncontested win for evolution in February, with God doing a no-show in the monkeys poking stick contest. His presence was conspicuously absent as a chimpanzee first picked up a stick and then poked it into a hole.

Another victory for the current favorite "Evolution" and another disappointed round from His mightiness, God.

They are both facetious, but it does propagate an annoying cliche.
