Satoshi Fumi - P.O.D EP [Urbantorque]

This is everything about Urbantorque that I love. Deep, groovy basslines. Simple, understated, yet effective strings, piano hooks, and synths. In a nutshell, sex on a dancefloor.

Samples available on Beatport. The only track I wasn't really into was D1, the rest are going to be in heavy rotation.

D1 is definitely not my style at all - far too epic sounding for my tastes, but I do think Myra will like it a bit, so it may end up showing up in her/our sets.

Pioneep and Sign are the ones for me, excellent deep stuff with a solid piano line in Pioneep and a greatbassline/synthplay on Sign.

Synchonicity didn't do anything for me at all. Probably the worst tune of the release IMO.

Still, solid stuff here

Grrrr ... Pianeep file is fucked up.

LOOOOOOVE Urbantorque!! I've been trying to find someone that went to Miami and grabbed a copy of their Summer sampler, it's fire (supposedly ).

I'm well aware of what's on it, but just knowing isn't getting me anywhere

Woah new Fumi. I really liked his track "Talkin 2 U", so gotta hear this.

From the samples:

D1 - sounds a tad too fluffy, but has a good vibe.

Pianeep - i like this a lot. a bit of a formulatic deep track, but nice bassline.

Sign - very similar in style to Pianeep. this guy's basslines rock.

Syncronicity - holy shit, sounds great.

D1 - Too epic as RJT said.
Sign - Bassline isnt my cup of tea.
Pianeep - Awesome, love this.
Syncronicity - Makes me melt in my pants.

Another quality release from Urban Torque which has consistently been my one of my favorite labels for years now. I still rock those departure lounge tunes
