i have a feeling it wont be a good movie but they just did a good job with the trailer. i still want to see it.

the trailers are cool too.

death proof is pretty shitty. the dialogue is pretty cool, but the story itself is pretty bland and uninteresting. I woulda walked out but i needed to get some sleep before the drive home. (it was like 2:30am then)

In Europe we don't get to see Grindhouse before June, and even then only Death Proof. Planet Terror will be premiered separately in September. Not cool at all to split a double feature like that.

Do i smell some serious $$$ with the Grindhouse premiere policy for us Europeans??

not just europe, but everywhere else besides the states i hear..the reason ? cuz besides U.S, they wouldnt understand the grindhouse concept..lol like young kids here would..

It is probably something like that. With our ticket prices i kinda hate to pay full price for an hour long movies.. we should get discount unless we get to see some extended cuts of both, which is what i'm hoping for.

i saw the first showing today and it was just so damn good, like a blowjob. iv been waiting three years to see this film.

k first off we canadians got a fake trailer no one else had called 'Hobo with a shotgun'. this trailer was so damn good on the big screen, the whole audience loved it. then came the Machete trailer which was so fuckin great that its being made into a real movie now (source: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0985694/). after those two trailers came Planet Terror by Robert Rodriguez. if you hate gore, mexicans, texas, and little 7 year olds getting shot in the face, then this is not the movie for you, u little pussy panzy ass piece of shit. Planet Terror is probably one of the best Zombie flicks you will ever see since the original Dawn of the Dead. during the sex scene with Rose McGowan and Freddy Rodr�guez, there was a missing reel and 20 minutes of plot was missing. but the audience still loved it and was laughing.
after planet terror was over we got to see 3 more fake trailers.

the most sick and twisted trailer of em all, 20 seconds had to be cut from the trailer to avoid an NC-17...cant wait for the DVD

then came Tarantino's Death Proof. Death Proof started out with really bad intentional funny editing. its hard to explain, u have to see it for yourself. first half of the movie is just girls doing girl talk and being whores. but its starts to pick up later on and turns into a fucking good tarantino movie. probably my 2nd favorite taratino film(1st is pulp fiction).

long story short, go watch Grindhouse.

EDIT: all the black people walked out the first 5 minutes for some reason

You idiot. It's supposed to be a throwback to cheesy over the top drive-in movies of the time. Tarantino isn't shite - you are - for not getting what he's trying to do...which isn't rocket science, so it makes you even dumber, lol.
