where should i start?

sup everyone, im a 17 year old male, very intrested in creating my own trance music. the only problem is i have no idea where to start, or how too? i have no current equipment either, or maybe thats something i should worry about later? but anyway, i listen to a wind range of trance artists, but listening to music won't make my own beats. but anyway, i would greatly appreciate any help or information on how to get started, be it books to check out, other websites, (though this one looks extremely helpful), or anything else
