theres a few good places in glasgow, the arches is the best i'd say,this is where colours is usually held on the first saturday of every month ...I saw paul van dyk there a few months back

carling academy has back to the future and stuff if you like that kinda thing. (armin van burren is playin there in may cant wait!!)
theres also the sub-club, and maybe the tunnel?(dunno ive never been)

are you going to coloursfest?

Inside Out at The arches consistently has great tech-trance nights. Pressure has the best Techno in the country and Death Disco has one of the best Electroclash nights in the country. Honestly worth a try to any of these if they sound like your cup of tea. UI wouldn't mind meeting up with fellow ta's as long as they dont have any criminal records of kidnap etc. I'm off to the arches tonight, 12th April.

I don't know about local meets as such, in the time i've been on this site, the UK forum seems to be one of the least active. Would be good to get a sense of community again.

yea it does seem pretty quiet in this part of the forums lol...

i've only been out in glasgow twice and werent really with a group of people into specific stuff... mainly just went to bars and pubs and destiny i think is it? some dodgy bloke bought me a drink but i didnt drink it... not sure if he was after my bum but that aint my thing anyway lol... looked well dodgy tho.

could always try and arrange somethin for mid summer depending on whether anyone would be up for it. gives people loads of time to save some pennies too - people like me who are always skint! hehe

let's see, my fave genre is trance and pretty much all sub genres that come with it. mainly vocal or hard stuff but not really fussed.

i like house, thought not to familiar with that scene.

techno is kool but would need some trance thrown in somewhere in the night so really am up for anythin (within reason) haha

I live near Falkirk in the Central belt and I am thinking of going to the Carling Academy on the 12th May to see Armin.

Just back from Syndicate in Blackpool on Saturday where I daw him, was amazing.
