Best trance/prog. compilation series

I go with Trance Nation (until 4) but I've heard very little of the other sets so I'm a big sheltered.

GC albums do it for me aswell, 'Discotech' back in late 99 is probably my favourite album.

Global Underground...

No doubt about it..

Posted by IronDragon on Apr-08-2002 20:49:

Didn't include Godskitchen, Slinky, Gatecrasher, because they aren't really an established series I almost included Gatecrasher but only 2 isn't necessarily a series yet. Especially compared to 30+ Dream Dances and Tunnel Trance Forces and almost 30 Global Underground (including the NuBreed series).

Posted by IronDragon on Apr-08-2002 20:51:

and when I say two. There wasn't really a unified theme really until Digital and Experience. At least that's how I looked at it at the time. Now that I think about it Gatecrasher should be up there..my fault..again....Promise to think it through next time I make a poll

Hello!

i don't really understand what ur trying to say?? are u saying that these compilations aren't very well esatblished? How can u say that, when gatecrasher, slinky and godskitchen are 3 of the UK's biggest (some would say the biggest!) trance clubs. I guess ur poll applies more to the US.

BTW All the GC's have a unified theme cos they were all compiled by Scott Bond (whose style has got harder over the years).

anywayz.....

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Global Underground

Everyone is absolute quality! And they are never the same which most of those other series are. And GU always goes for unknown still underground stuff, as in it acheives what it aims to do in that respect, whic I think it brilliant of the boys. Good to finally have someone that is willing to get away from popularity and comercialism for the music. About time.

Gu is just pure quality all round!
