I have seen the future, and it isn't pretty.

Last week in clinical I catheterized a patient for my first time.

Oh man...it was soooo brutal. My mentor was pointing to the urethra (which did NOT look like a urethra...hell I didn't even see a clitoris, and there was only ONE labia minora ) saying "There, do you see it?" And I was like, "Uhhhh, I think so " So she told me just to give'r and I did....and there was no urine return.
