Stanton SMX 301 vs Pioneer DJM 300

I have a choice between these two mixers at the moment.
Stanton SMX 301
Pioneer DJM 300

Here are some points I have added into the choice:
-The stanton I can get for $50 US cheaper.
-I only need 2 channels for mixing.
-I dont need the BPM counter feature of the Pioneer. Although it would be nice for my brother to learn with.
-The kill switches on the stanton seem like a nice feature.

My main question would be, is there any kind of significant sound quality difference between these two? Im thinking the pioneer would be better, any thoughts?

My choice at the moment will be the stanton, agree? disagree?

I need some replies quickly, as these people are waiting for me.

Probably gonna get a lot of responses for the Pioneer, and that's what I'd recommend. Don't know the difference in sound quality, but in built quality alone you're probably better off with the Pio.

Don't use the BPM to learn... Baaaad voodoo! (for your bro)

Kill switches are just unnecessary. Just use the eq if you want to do quick bass kill.

Stantons are ok sound quality wise, but don't expect them to last long, esp the faders and crossfaders.

IMO for any mixer selection, first 2 considerations should be durability and sound quality.

So I'd say Pioneers.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I read some reviews online and decided to go with the pioneer.
