goombah dancing at its finest!

wonder if anyone that went to wmc encountered these guys...

Posted by djquick83 on Apr-11-2007 00:53:

This is liek what u see at Crobar almost every nite.

Posted by fr0st on Apr-11-2007 00:57:

Lol goombah, i love it...

Posted by DeRangedMind on Apr-11-2007 01:08:

If they came to Buzz/Nation back then they would be rushed off the floor

Posted by DJ Eco on Apr-11-2007 01:16:

haha dunno... everyone but the guy with the wifebeater, and the olive green shirt seems to know how to move it halfway-decently (guy in blue especially)... theyre expressing themselves into the music, nothing wrong with that.... it's the twats waving their glowsticks at the DT Vinyl reunion party that we should be making fun of haha...

LMAO @ the guy with the black mask!!!... he's GOTTA be from New York

Posted by ReenTeenTeen on Apr-11-2007 01:30:

umm, lol

Eco, how was reunion BTW? (I was too drunk to make it out of BK)

Posted by DJ Eco on Apr-11-2007 01:53:

It was okay... Can't say I made it past 2 hours of DT's set so I can't fairly judge it, so I'll start from the beginning.... Opener was Manny Freytes: pretty good track selection, horrible mixing... trainwreck after trainwreck... Then came Michaelanagelo, loved the little hat he wore with the propeller (lmao!!!), his track selection was amaaaaazing, he played some sick minimal, but once again, the mixing was HUGELY off... I don't know what was going on, maybe some technical difficulties, cos it seemed like every transition was a struggle for both DJs, Tenaglia included... He started off techy, really cool songs, especially when he played Dirty Kids' "animals", amazing tune!!! But once again, the mixing was off on every transition, sometimes totally trainwrecked; there had to be some tech. issues, there's no way three DJs in a row could mess up so bad! Not sure how his set was after the 2 hours or so that I saw him, so that's that! Crowd was horrible, of course, everyone was moving around all over the place, I got so pissed off I even screamed out at one group of girls "Where are you going?! What are you running from?!?!" hahaha... It was ridiculous though, worse than ever! I don't get how Danny can stand up for his beliefs and views on club culture and the "scene" but continue to play at Pacha, it's beyond me how he doesn't get on the mic every two minutes to complain about something...

Dancing is a form of expression, what they are doing is NOT dancing. I swear im just waiting for them to pull out their tiny, atrophied penes and compare them.

Posted by DJ Eco on Apr-11-2007 02:30:

It's more dancing than the head-bop that I see at these minimal tech parties that most people would categorize as a "good crowd"... It's one thing to make fun of a really fruity frolic (in the case of the dude in the wifebeater, as well as plenty other videos you could find on that haha), but I think the dude in blue is a good dancer, imho. The other dude is just a floundering idiot haha

People have a good a time: funny or not as longest its a good time.

Posted by kingchinc on Apr-11-2007 05:46:

truthfully, their dancing is not dancing at all, its a way to show off their roided muscles....notice how they are flexing the entire time...mostly the wifebeater guy is, but the dancing looks like absolute figgity rubbish...imo

Posted by EliPsE on Apr-11-2007 05:51:

hahah The dude with the mask is hilarious. wtf is he thinking hah

Posted by sot on Apr-11-2007 06:00:

hes thinking im a large goomba......... with a large tumaaaa........ in the head!

Posted by BloodfIower on Apr-11-2007 10:46:

wow, holy cow ... there must have been gooooood drugs around i guess. it seems like the Es overthere arent as low dosed as they used to be
anyway, the mask guy is definitly worth a good laugh, but more is the guy with white shirt and cap who plunks down himself 2 times, LOL.

i agree at the "dancing is a art"-form etc, but this is just, i mean... nothing. its not synchronal to the rythm nor to the 4/4 beat or anything. they are jumping around with no reason doing figures, punches and kicks that doesnt even make the tiniest sense in combination. it looks like they are making fun out of RunDMC-alike hiphop/breakdance-battle scene which i find pretty offensive

imo its WAY more enjoyable to watch oldschool ravers doing crasher-dance-alike things (like raving to 145bpm techno while doing 2steps between every beat) = that looks insane, like ppl running on the spot.
or well skilled glowstick dancers... there's also way more art into it, imho of course

oh forgat what this video reminded me off immidiatly:

@ botox

Posted by Dirichlet on Apr-11-2007 13:13:

Yeah... that "dancing" looks more like some form of mild seizure
I guess that's what excessive testosterone will do to someone. That's one more arument for not doing steriods - you'll dance like a moron.

Posted by DJ Skillz on Apr-11-2007 14:57:
