Territory restricted music is a little harder to deal with, because you need to do a little research on what territory the particular label distributes to, but it's not too hard once you know where to look.

Beatport HAS implemented a couple of measures to try and thwart proxy users, but they are trivial to defeat. The fact of the matter is that because proxied traffic is no different than normal traffic, they can't do a whole lot to restrict their use or they would effect normal customers as well. And don't worry too much about CC info. If you have a Beatport account already established, the CC info is already stored server side and is never passed on. you DO have to worry about passing your BP password, but I address that in my article. And you don't have to worry about someone getting your CC info FROM your Beatport account, because it's hashed out, even in the account setup/change screens.

Very annoying that they have this. You just have to purchase from another online vendor. Since they have your credit card information, it's not like you can pretend you're in Europe or something.

BP determines your territory by your IP address, not your credit card.
