Xone 62 and DJM-400

Question for those who've recorded mixes on both a 62 and a DJM-8/400:

I own a DJM-400 but wanted something with a few more channels. I know the 62 is years-old in comparison, but will I be taking a hit in sound fidelity when I record mixes?

In terms of sound quality, xone > pioneer

In the words of Bill Paxton as Pvt. Hudson,

"Game over, man! Game over."

You wont be taking a hit you'll be upgrading in sound quality.

Unless you are using digital cables into CDJs from the 400. Then you have the digital/analog debate.

It depends what kind of music you want to play. If you're going for a proggy-house sound than go with the 62. If you wanna fool around with FXs and play trance go with the 400.
